This is a basic-level Excel course for beginners that introduces core spreadsheet skills. Learners will explore the Excel interface, understand workbook and worksheet structure, and practice basic data entry in cells, rows, and columns.

The course also covers essential formatting (fonts, numbers, alignment, merging cells) and basic navigation tools such as switching sheets, using workbook views, freezing panes, hiding/unhiding rows and columns, and customizing the Quick Access Toolbar.

1. Navigating the Excel Interface and Workspace

This module introduces the Excel environment and its core components. Learners will explore the Ribbon, menus, toolbars, and worksheet structure, and develop essential navigation skills to move efficiently within and across workbooks. 2. Essential Data Entry and Cell Operations

This module focuses on fundamental data entry and basic cell operations. Learners will practice entering and editing data, selecting and modifying cells, and using tools such as copy, paste, AutoFill, and Find and Replace. Basic formatting techniques are also introduced to ensure data is clear and organized.

3. Workbook Views and Workspace Navigation

This module introduces essential Excel navigation and workspace management tools. Learners will explore different workbook views such as Normal, Page Layout, Page Break Preview, and Full Screen to better understand how data is displayed. It also covers practical worksheet management techniques, including hiding and unhiding rows, columns, and worksheets, as well as freezing panes to improve data visibility. 4. Workbook Essentials and Basic Formatting

5. Workbook Views & Data Control Essentials

This module focuses on managing workbook views and applying basic data control tools in Excel. Learners will explore how to customize worksheet views by hiding and displaying rows, columns, worksheets, and formulas, as well as using zoom and freezing panes to improve navigation. It also covers workbook view modes such as Page Layout, Page Break Preview, and Custom Views to enhance how data is displayed and organized. In addition, learners will be introduced to basic workbook properties and simple data validation concepts that support accuracy and consistency in data entry.
